MFT Summer School: Color Theory – Gallon/Quart/Pint

DSC_0120Oh my it’s been so long since I’ve stamped! I don’t know if it’s that my stamp room has no windows, or that I can’t stay inside for too long in the summer, but I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve crafted anything! Today it’s about 90 degrees out and very humid. I’ve already been outside long enough to vacuum the pool and get a sunburn so I think I’m done being outside for the day.

I’m so excited that I decided to peruse blogland, because I came across a fun series MFT Stamps is doing this month called Summer School! The lesson I’m beginning with is on Color Theory: The gallon/quart/pint rule. Now this is my kind of school 😉 Check out all the details here.

I feel like I use this rule in my stamping, but it was a nice reminder for sure!

I used this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch for my card, along with the MFT Stamps set called Spring Tulips. My favorite part of this set? The matching die cut that cuts out all the fussy cutting! The DSP is from Doodlebug Designs, called Snips & Snails. Here are the Copics I used to color my tulip: YG03, YG05, YG07, YG09, Y11, Y15, Y18

Time to go check out the next lesson, hope you all have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!
