Welcome stamping friends! We're in the midst of a blizzard, but luckily the power has remained on (knock on wood) so I'm able to get crafty! We do have a generator, but before my husband left for storm duty he reminded me that it should only be used for essential items…I will probably deem my stamp room essential should the power go out 😉
I stopped over to the MFT Challenge Blog today to see what's new & exciting, and decided to join in their latest sketch challenge:
I would consider myself a beginner distress ink user, just barely touching the tip of the iceberg of everything that can be done with them I suspect! I used Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers on my background, then dripped on some water and used my heat tool to dry it.
I used a stamp set from MFT Stamps that I think is retired, called Big Birthday Wishes, and I colored her in with the following Copics:
Hair/Shoes: E31, E33, E35, E37
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Shirt: RV63, RV66
Pants: B21, B23
Balloons: BG000, BG01, BG45, RV00, RV02, RV06
Thanks so much for stopping by!
