Merry Monday and Freshly Made Sketches

jolly-hello-kerin-sylvesterHi stamping friends 🙂 Today I’ve created my first Christmas card of the year to go along with two fun challenges, Merry Monday and Freshly Made Sketches:

FMS Final 211-001178

I was so excited when I found some gold cardstock for the Merry Monday challenge to use Red & Gold! I used it for his mittens and the little heart on his hat, along with the circle beneath him. I paired it with the Christmas Cuteness set from My Favorite Stamps, which, YAY, has a matching die-namics set so no fussy cutting!

I colored Santa in with Copics in R14, R17, R29, R39, and added a little E40 to his beard and hair, along with a little R30 for some rosy cheeks. The snowflake embossing folder is from SU!, but apparently it’s retired.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you found a little time to get crafty this weekend!

  1. Fabulous use of the sketch with that cute Santa. I love how the snowflake embossing folder “frames” both Santa and the sentiment. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  2. This is an adorable little Santa and he looks fabulous against the gold circle with his little gold gloves! Too cute! Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
