Merry Monday #86 – Chalkboard Technique

IMG_0558

For today's card I'm playing along with the Merry Monday Challenge, which is to use the chalkboard technique. I have never tried this technique before, but have wanted to for a while now, so today is the day! Wow, I found it to be so easy too, especially since they provided a link to a tutorial right in the blog post!

I got my sketch from this weeks Mojo Monday Challenge.

Here are the supplies I used for my card:

Stamps: Welcome Christmas (SU!)

Ink: Versamark, StazOn White

Paper: Festival of Prints DSP, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Very Vanilla (all SU!)

Accessories: Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon (SU!), Pearl Corsage Pins (bought at local craft store, then colored with my E33 Copic marker), White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Poinsettia embossing folder (SU!)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
