Today I'm playing along with the Merry Monday challenge again. I am on a roll with Christmas cards lately, and at this rate I might even be able to send them out on time!
Today's challenge is to use stripes, red, chocolate and stars or hearts. Well lucky me I've got a set that includes stripes (candy cane), and a star all in one 🙂 I used the Flourishes set called That's a Wrap. I have loved this set since it came out, but haven't gotten it inky 'til now. Wow, let me tell you, there was a lot of coloring on this one as you can see! Next time I might try stamping my bow on some DSP, that sure would make a quick & easy card!
With the limited colors in this challenge I also managed to keep the Copics I used to a minimum! On the bow, candy cane, bells & berries I only used R22, R24, R27, R29 with a touch of R39 for the really dark parts. For the ribbon & star I used E31, E33, and E35. Wow that's nothing like the table full I usually use 😉
Thanks so much for stopping by!
