Memorial Day Challenge

Hello stampers! What a gorgeous day it is here in Massachusetts! Woah, I'm in such a good mood today I can hardly contain myself! Memorial Day is coming up next weekend, wow, doesn't that seem like the start of summer to you? It does to me! We're opening the pool this weekend, and our temps could be up to the mid 80's by the middle of next week, yippee!! We only have 21 days of school left (not that I'm counting haha!!)…can't wait! Can you tell a little sunshine and some warm weather does wonders for me?!?! (and seeing the end of my work year in sight helps too 😉

Anyway, I saw a challenge over at the Pals Paper Arts blog, and it's a themed challenge – Memorial Day – so I thought I'd jump on board. So this card actually includes no stamping! Just the big star punch, and I hope you love those bitty buttons as much as I do, they're soooo cool! The only thing is…I seem to be using up the circles more than any other shape, so I need to work on using up some other shapes!! The stars are punched in Brushed Silver card stock. I know the Scallop Trim Border Punch isn't available right now, but it will be with the new catalog so I used it anyway…just about another month and a half and we'll be ordering from a new catalog…how exciting!!!!!!!

Guess what else is exciting?!?! The fabulous projects over at Create with Connie & Mary! It's not too late to sign up…you will still have access to everything done so far, all of the projects and tutorials!!

  1. Kerin-I love your card. I just did a card that had no stamping on it too. Your card is so nice. It shouts summer and American Pride. Enjoy those 80 degree temps. We had a sunny 56 degrees here in Northern California today, and expect showers and cold temp for the next week.
