Matchbox Treat

Matchbox-treat

Happy Sunday Stampers! First I'd like to thank you all for your well wishes and advice in my flooded basement situation, I really appreciate it!! My husband installed a permanent sump pump under the basement floor, and the water has receded…just in time because we've got another 2-4 inches of rain on the way for the next couple of days! We've got the dehumidifier running 24/7 and today we'll be cleaning out more of the ruined items from the basement. I'll look on the bright side, my basement would never have been cleaned out this quickly any other way lol!!

So back to today's project. I had seen THIS adorable box on Dannie's blog a week or two ago and I knew I had to make one! It's made with four of the Matchbox Die boxes, and held together with card stock on the top and bottom. It's actually bigger than it looks, measuring almost 5" square. Each of the four drawers holds four Hershey Nuggets.

For my version, I used Pale Plum CS, along with Cottage Wall dsp. I also used the Fun & Fast Notes stamp set, Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot Ribbon, and my favorite sentiment set called Teeny Tiny Wishes. The little drawer "pulls" are Ice Square Rhinestone Brads. The punches I used were the 1-3/4" Circle, Word Window, and Modern Label.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

This is really adorable and a neat gift idea. I didn’t get the match box die because it is so tiny, but…now I am re-thinking!
