Magnetic Movers & Shapers Sneak Peek

I had so much fun today playing with my new toys! I created two boxes, and I used the Movers & Shapers die, along with the new Movers & Shapers magnetic shapes that will be available July 1. I thought these would make nice party favors, for a birthday party, 4th of July cookout, etc.

Mover-box-2

Supplies:
Stamp Sets:
More the Merrier (new hostess set), All Holidays
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Black StazOn
CS: Rich Razzleberry, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Accessories: Window Sheets, Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot Ribbon, 1" Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Word Window Punch, Sticky Strip, Movers & Shapers Die, Magnetic Shapes, Crop-a-dile

Here's the second:

Mover-box-1
(in the set the bird actually holds a heart, but I cut a star out that I had stamped from  the Classic Stars wheel to replace the heart)

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: More the Merrier, Fundamental Phrases, Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel
Ink: VersaMark, Black StazOn, Real Red, Basic Grey, Pumpkin Pie
CS: Real Red, WW
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Blender Pen, Real Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, 1" Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Word Window Punch, Crop-a-Dile, Window Sheets, Movers & Shapers Die, Magnetic Shapes

I'm sure the pictures will be deceiving, so I thought I should tell you that the boxes are 3×4", and about 7/8" high. I just started with a strip of CS 3×11", put it through the Big Shot over my magnetic shape, then added a couple of extra score marks to make the outside of the box (like the outside of the matchbox, it wraps around the inside box). The inside box was 3-3/4 x 4-3/4" and is scored at 7/8" on all sides.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. These are SOOO cute. I wish I could use these dies, but since I only have a CuttleBug, I am unable 🙁 boo hoo! I can use the dies like the top note, but not these bigger ones. Oh well, I guess I will just have to live without!
