Love You Card

Today's card was so quick and easy to create with just a couple of layers of paper and a few accessories!

I found the perfect Valentine's font HERE, installed it on my computer and used it with my Silhouette Cameo to create "love you" in white.

I layered Sweet Cakes DSP (Doodlebug Designs) on white CS just a 1/4" longer and adhered a strip of sticky strip, then added glitter. Then I adhered that layer onto Melon Mambo CS (SU!), then put that on another SU! color from years ago, I think it may have been called Pretty in Pink (?) which was embossed with the polka dots embossing folder (SU!).

How about the little hearts in the corner? I found some wood veneer die-cut hearts (Studio Calico) at my local scrapbooking store. I adhered coordinating card stock on top and sanded the edges to make sure the card stock was flush with the wood.

Thanks so much for stopping by 🙂

  1. I really need to get my Cameo working for me as much as you do! I always seems to forget that it’s there! The sentiment looks great, especially with those little heart die-cuts. And now I’ve got to ask what the scrapbooking store is that you go to. The nearest one to me that I know of is Kept Creations in Whitman, so I’d love to know if there’s another one nearby.
