Let it Snow

It might be a little early to wish for snow, but I think this card we made at my stamper's club this week is too cute! I know the "normal" snow cards are usually blue and white, but I think the pink makes it oh so adorable. I used the Merry & Bright stamp set for the snowman, I just stamped it in Black StazOn, then punched it out with my 1-1/4" circle punch to omit the words Merry & Bright…layered it up on some black card stock, then a Pretty in Pink scallop.

I used the Snow jumbo wheel with a Pretty in Pink cartridge in the handle, and I used my 2-way glue pen to add Dazzling Diamonds to the snowman's hat and the little snowy parts of the wheel.  I was just saying to a friend this morning that I rarely even pick up my wheels, and every time I do I think how much more I should use them!

We are headed out to Edaville Railroad tonight with the kids, even though it's over 60 degrees here today! If you've never heard of Edaville Railroad, it's here in Carver, MA and they have 100's of thousands of Christmas lights, and a train ride, and Santa, a carousel and other rides…well tonight it's free to residents of Carver…they do it one weekend each year, so even though it's not very "Christmas-y" out right now we're going anyway!

Tomorrow I'm headed to an all day stamping event, woohoo! I have big plans of doing a Xmas jar soon (like the Spooky jar) and a pretty (I hope) Countdown to Christmas sign, but you know after I see lots of new and amazing things tomorrow I'm going to have a big to-do list again!!

Hope you all have a fun-filled weekend, and fit in some stamping too!
