Woohoo, we're back to Monday! I know, most people hate Mondays, and I will soon too when I'm back to work, but for now Monday means back to stamping while Jeff works and the boys play with their friends 🙂 We try to do all family stuff on the weekends, yesterday we took the boys bike riding in the state forest (they have the best paved bike trails) for a couple of hours, it was lots of fun…except for the fact that Ben blew his tire and we had to wait while Jeff, Nick and Nick's friend Josh rode back to the car so they could come and rescue us! Actually Ben & I had a great time laughing and goofing off while we were waiting, so it was a total quality moment with my teenager, who I can't believe still thinks I'm not half bad 🙂 We followed up our trip with a yummy caramel frappe from McDonald's, have you tried those things?!?! Oh my, here's my tip for you…do NOT try to find out how many calories they are or it will totally ruin it for you!
Anyway, back to today's stamping…this card is for the Sweet Sunday sketch challenge. I love Karen's style, and her sketches are always cool too 🙂
I used the Play Date dsp, with Brights buttons tied with Linen Thread and mounted on Early Espresso circles. The stamp is from the Afterthoughts hostess set. I also added some Neutrals brads. Card stock colors are Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso.
Thanks for stopping by!
