Inspiration Challenge

Woah, two posts in one day, what is going on here?!?!? Well, it's hot as h-e-double hockey sticks outside and I'm happily stamping away in the air conditioning 🙂 Actually we're due to leave for Nick's baseball game in Boston shortly, so the cool times are over…ugh 🙁

Anywho, the reason for this post…I'm trying out an inspiration challenge…I've never tried an inspiration challenge before, and I have to say I really enjoyed it! It came from the Late Night Stampers group, and here's the inspiration:

And here's my card:

I kind of had my sister on my mind while making this card, she's due to have her third baby any day now 🙂 We don't know if it's a girl or a boy yet, but if it's a boy she's getting this card for sure! Can you believe we don't even know the possible names either?!?! She doesn't want to see any reactions to the names she's picked, so they're keeping themselves until the baby is born. Smart choice I think…you know when you're pregnant and you tell someone the names you're thinking of and you get that "ewww, I knew a boy named x,y or z and he was such a brat" reaction?!?! So not cool, but it happens!!

Anyway, I used the Pun Fun set, colored it in with my Aquapainter and Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point, and Pear Pizzazz ink, then I sponged some clouds using the new Big Scallop Circle Punch with Bashful Blue ink. The strips along the bottom are just strips of card stock in Bashful Blue, Pear Pizzazz and Pacific Point adhered randomly onto Shimmery White card stock.

Thanks for stopping by!
