Wow, thanks so much for all the wonderful emails about my mini magazine holder and note cards! I have also had a TON of emails asking how the envelopes made, so I thought I'd quickly show you how to do that today. You'll want to stop back later though, because I'm also going to post my stamper's club cards and treats from last night!
Ok, here goes…start with a "regular" size Stampin' Up! envelope.
Next, seal your envelope shut and cut it at 4-3/8" as shown here:
Now take your 1-3/8" circle punch and punch out a little half circle so the card can easily be
removed by the recipient.
Cut a piece of dsp 3 x 4-3/8", and score at 1" (so you'll have 1" on the front of the card, and the other 2" for the flap) You can round the corners on the flap side so it looks more "flappy" (what is that?!?! guess I'm inventing my own terms now…you get my meaning right?)
Adhere the 1" part to the front of the card and you're ready to go! Here's a picture of the front and back when you're done.
(wish I had some nice long manicured nails for this photo op…the stubs work better for stamping though 🙂
great and easy idea TFS and look at this web site….sooooooo pretty!
