Happy Birthday Wishes

So this morning I thought I'd make a card for my son, his birthday is Monday (party tomorrow night), and he's turning 14…and I have no idea what happened, but obviously this card is NOT for him! He'll be needing something a little more manly for sure 🙂 I'm still pretty happy with this card, so I'll save it for the next female birthday in the family.

Here's what I used:
Stamp Set: Fun & Fast Notes
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, Melon Mambo, Black StazOn
CS: Melon Mambo, WW, Basic Black
Accessories: Kaleidoscope dsp, Blender Pens, Rhinestone Brads (removed the brad part and stuck them on with mini glue dots), Bermuda Bay Polka-Dot ribbon, Silver Elastic Cord, 2-way glue Pen, DD glitter, Polka Dot Texturz plate for the Big Shot

We're headed out to the beach today, since we've finally got some hazy, hot & humid summer weather today! I'm hoping I work well under pressure to create Ben's birthday card tonight or tomorrow, along with some s'mores kits for a campfire birthday!

  1. I agree with Kathy…love the black bg paper…it really does enhance it even more. I absolutely LOVE those colors! And your bling in the corner makes it perfect…Happy Birthday to Ben!!

  2. that is so funny Kerin! We have Colin’s b’day today and I will use the turtle card with the birthday hat for him. It is bright enough and boyish enough. Anyway have a great day! Love the card for a “lady”!
