Wow, what a snowy day here in the Northeast! Is it bad to have your jammies on before 7 pm…make that 6:30?? It's just one of those days, time to snuggle up with the fluffy robe and slippers, I'll still be stamping mind you, but I'll be comfy and stamping!
Here are a couple of gift bags I made. I thought it would be a neat idea to put some little door prizes in gift bags for my downline meeting Thursday night, and have the girls that win pick based on the bag and be surprised with the goody inside. The first one is actually pretty little, it's only about 4" wide and 3-1/2" high. How much do you love that beautiful new organza ribbon????? I loved it for this project too, and for more reasons than one…you'll see.
The designer paper is from the Sale-a-bration pack, and the ribbon is one long piece…I put sticky strip where you see the ribbon adhered to the bag, and at the bottom too. Then I just started the end of my ribbon at the bottom of the bag, went up and down to create my first handle, then up and down the other side making the other handle, ending at where I started.
Here's a neat little trick…I wasn't sure what to tie my tag to my bag with, so I snipped the edge of the ribbon off like you see in the picture above, and used that as my string for my bag! Pretty cool huh? I just didn't think linen thread or hemp would do it for these springy colors.
The next bag uses the same dsp, and I just added the coordinating celery ribbon from the Sale-a-bration ribbon bundle. How cool is it that SU! added some accessories to the Sale-a-bration brochure this time? Love it!
Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow!
