Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge – Paper Piecing

IMG_0348_edited-1

Today I'm joining in on the Flourishes challenge to create a stamped project which includes paper piecing. Not to be confused with paper piercing, paper piecing is when you stamp portions of your image on paper (usually decorative paper), cut out that portion and adhere it to your stamped image in place of coloring the image in. In my card above, I used paper piecing on my pinwheels to make them more colorful.

The Pinwheels & Popsicles set is so stinkin' cute, I find myself using it over & over again! Here are the other supplies used on this card:

Ink: Copics (R20, R22, R24, BG10, BG11, BG14), Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper: Color Made Easy CS (Emerald Coast Collection), XPressIt Blending Card (White), Echo Park Beautiful Life

Accessories: Seam Binding Ribbon Teal Blue, Flat-backed Rhinestones colored with Copics, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Circle Punches, Die & Border punch, dimensionals – all SU!

Thanks for stopping by!
