Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #218

FTTC218

I've been loving the Timeless Tuesday Challenges on the Flourishes blog, so I couldn't wait to check it out tonight. The challenge today is to create with two items from your birth month. Today is my niece Grace's birthday, so I decided to follow her month of April, using 2 patterned papers and a flower stamp 🙂

I was so happy to go off in a little bit of a different direction with this card. It seems I'm all about flowers, and I usually lean towards pink & red. I have so many Copics in the BG color group that they don't all fit in my holder, so I was determined to put them to good use tonight!

I used a new set I just got last week from Flourishes, called Spring Blossoms. I stamped my image on XpressIt Blending Card, using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The Copics I used are:

Blueish flowers: BG10, BG11, BG23, BG49

Daffodils: Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17, Y38

Leaves: YG11, YG13, YG17

I also used Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio Two for the label in the middle, with the Color Made Easy paper collection from Flourishes called Emerald Coast. I added some Aqua Mist satin ribbon from Papertrey Ink, half-back pearls & flower from SU!, both colored with Copics, and the designer paper is from the My Mind's Eye Reunion paper pad.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
