Flourishes Textures of Nature Challenge

Today I created a card using the Flourishes Textures of Nature challenge. I was so excited because I got to use my new Silhouette Cameo, and Flourishes has cut files to cut out the exact shape of many of their stamps! How cool is that?!?! This machine is SO awesome! I used it to make favors for Ben's graduation dinner too. I can't believe I used to spend hours designing, scoring & cutting boxes!

Anyway, the challenge was to be inspired or use a texture from nature. I don't know if you can see it in this photo, but my background DSP is a woodgrain design. I used the Garden Picks set from Flourishes, colored with Copics. To color my flowers I used YR00, YR12, YR18, with a touch of R08. For the leaves/stems I used YG03, YG05, YG07, YG09 & YG67.

The DSP I used is called Lost & Found Market/Market Street from My Mind's Eye. I used Seam Binding Ribbon from Flourishes, and Lace with a decorative brad from Stampin' Up!.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
