Flourishes It’s Sketchy Challenge

Hello! Today I've created a card for the Flourishes "It's Sketchy" Challenge, which was to follow along with a sketch and incorporate any type of window. Here's what I came up with:

FLLCJUL13

For this card I used the Flourishes set called Tulips for Friends, along with some seam binding ribbons from the Color Made Easy Poppy & Sunflower collections. I used DSP and Peach Parfait CS from SU!, along with Silver Cord & Button from SU!. I cut up all my DSP into 6×6" squares as soon as I get it, so unfortunately I have no idea what it's called, I just know they came from the same pack.

Here are the Copic colors I used to color my tulips:

Orange Tulips – YR00, YR02, YR04

Yellow Tulips – Y11, Y15, Y17

Red Tulips – R12, R14, R17, R29

Leaves – YG03, YG05, YG07

Vase – This is a little strange, but there was a certain color I was going for and this is how I got there lol…base layer of YG11, with BG10 over it, and BG32 in the darker areas, then all covered with W00. I know, weird but it worked for me!

I don't know about you, but when I'm coloring an image that might take a while (at least for me), I don't want to experiment right on my main image. So, I always stamp another 2-3 images on scrap card stock and play with colors before I actually put them down on the image I'm working on. That's where I came up with the vase color combo.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
