Elements of Style – Sweet Sunday

I made today's card for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, and boy what a sweet Sunday it is here in Massachusetts today! Gorgeous weather, low 70's…beautiful! Jeff's torn the deck off of the side of the house and is shingling, so I'm going to head out and "help", and do some yard work…my help is probably more of a hindrance, but at least I'll try!

Anyway, back to the card. I used the new Elements of Style set, stamped it in Black StazOn on Shimmery White cs, and colored it with classic ink and my Aquapainter. I used Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Mellow Moss & Always Artichoke for the coloring. Hey, have you tried the crinkled ribbon trick yet? I colored up some Whisper White Organza Ribbon by sponging on classic ink, then I gently heated it with my Heat Tool until the edges crinkled. I think it's a pretty cool look.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and enjoy your Sunday!!
