Dreams Du Jour

Happy Saturday morning! Can you believe Christmas is THIS coming Friday!?! I missed posting yesterday, as I was trying to finish up some shopping, plus last night we made our annual trip out to pick up dinner, eat in the car, and drive around looking at Christmas lights for a couple of hours. My boys are 10 and 14 now and still look forward to this family tradition each year…of course my 14 year old said he would like it much more if I didn't make them listen to Christmas music the whole time! Oh I can just picture it, how fun it would be to drive around looking at Christmas lights listening to that screaming he calls music…wouldn't that be great?!?! NOT!!!

In other news, we're in for a major snowstorm this evening…my area is under a Blizzard warning!! So I've got the song "I'll be home for Chistmas" playing in my head this morning, as that's probably when I'll see my husband next 🙁 Just guessing, but he works on power lines, so I'm thinking he may be a little busy with a blizzard upon us. That means me wrangling the giant snowblower (actually I think it just pulls me around the driveway, I can't control that thing!!)…goooood times… BUT, between snowblowing I'll have nothing to do but stamp…well I could wrap, but I think I'll stick to stamping, I work better under pressure anyway 😉

Oh boy, so I'm rambling…anyway, want to hear about today's card? The girls made this the other night at Stamper's Club…I just love white & black for a real color pop! The set is Dreams du Jour, and I just stamped the butterflies in StazOn and colored in with markers. The bigger Modern Label layer is a Movers & Shapers die for the Big Shot. How about that new embossing folder that will be in the Occasions Mini?! Nice deep embossing of those dots, love it!!

A zillion things to do today before I'm homebound, so have a great weekend!!
