Downline Meeting

This week I had my monthly downline meeting, which always a favorite time of mine! We change it up every month, sometimes some of the girls bring projects for us all to make, sometimes we do a shoebox swap, and this month I had 4 projects for them to make…mostly because I was on vacation and could not stop stamping!! We talk a little business then get straight to the stamping and we have a great time. Here’s what we made this month:

Can you believe that Easter is March 23rd this year? I know, crazy isn’t it?!?!? Anyway, I got these cute little jars at IKEA, and we used the Sale-a-bration rub-ons for the little flower, the bunny stamp from the Holiday Blitz stamp set, and I don’t know how well you can see the top but it says "eggstra special easter wishes" and it’s from the Loads of Love accessories set.

Then we made these cute little post-it note holders, which I had seen on someone’s blog…I always like to give credit where credit is due, but I can’t remember where I saw it! The mini beaded pens were made using pens found at the dollar spot at Target, and we used the Bali Breeze designer paper on chipboard coasters.

Then we made these adorable little boxes, and it is called a Peek-a-boo box by Brenda Quintana and you can view it here. I altered it a bit for my purposes, but that’s where I got the idea. Love those rub-ons, can you tell?

The last project we made was a card that you’ll be able to view above this post shortly. It’s a hydrangea card that I created, but I’m offering a class using this stamp set as well, so it goes with the other cards more than it goes with my downline meeting info.

Here’s a good example of the great group we have…one of the girls in my downline, Christine, surprised us by bringing a project for us all to make, simply because she wanted to share it with us! Lucky day! She used the new Die-cut Blooms from the Occasions Mini catalog and I just love it! She also used Boho Backgrounds and Lots of Thoughts. Thanks again Christine!
