Display Stampers Projects – Just Believe

I am so excited to finally be able to share some projects I made for display at convention this year! Each year Stampin' Up! offers the opportunity for demonstrators to apply to be display stampers, so this year I finally went for it…sending in some projects (don't remember what or how many, it was months ago), and then waited to see if I was chosen. I can't even describe the feeling I had when I found out that I was selected. We made some of the first new projects demonstrators attending convention would see, so it was quite an honor!!

I couldn't attend convention this year (my son's birthday was the first day of convention), so the anticipation of waiting and wondering if anything I made ended up on the boards! Well, the pictures of the display boards taken by Heather Van Duker were nice and clear, so I could see many of the items I made…in fact almost everything I made was there!!! I was shocked!! There are only 3 projects I made that I don't see on the boards 🙂

I took pictures of each item I made before sending it off to Stampin' Up!, hoping that eventually I'd be able to share them on my blog…well, now that convention is over and the pictures are "out there" I can show them 🙂

So, for the next few days I'm going to show you some of my favorites that I made. Today I'll feature a couple of items I made using the Just Believe stamp set:

Gable Box:

I love this card in person, you can't tell from the picture but it's covered with a light shimmer from Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz:

Top Note Tote – I stamped the flowers in Marina Mist before running my Top Note pieces through the Big Shot for texture:

I used sponges to create the shading on this card, and it's done on Shimmery White card stock so it has a little shimmer to it too:
