Deconstructed Sketch 122

Party-time

Last night I made a card for a challenge I found last week and have been itching to try, the Deconstructed Sketch Challenge 122. I'm a huge fan of sketch challenges, mostly because it is so much easier for me to create something I'm happy with if the layout is already figured out for me. Pulling together papers and stamps is the easy part, figuring out where to put them all is the trick!

I'm a little late on the challenge, since it changes each Thursday, but I'm jumping on board anyway. I was pretty happy to see the new sketch, since I'm stamping again tonight and I just got some beautiful new sets from Flourishes to play with!

For tonight's card I pulled out a little cutie I adore, called Doodle Garden Party Time, from My Favorite Things. I just ordered some more stamps from them today, can't wait for them to arrive! I also did a little stitching on my card for the first time ever! The sewing machine I had for 20 years broke last winter so I have been wanting one ever since, well yesterday was the day 🙂 I can't wait to try it out some more on my cards!

The rest of the items I used on this card are below:

Copics: E33, E35, E37 (hair & shoes), E000, E31, E33 (skin), E95, E97 (shirt), BG10, BG11, BG13 (bow), Y15, Y17 (present & barrette)

Paper: XPressIt Blending Card, Sweater Weather DSP (SU!)

Accessories: Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit (SU!), Oval die with paper piercing tool, Antique Brads, Linen Thread (SU!)

Thanks for stopping by!
