Hi stamping friends 🙂 We are enjoying a cozy day in the house after a snowstorm last night, so I plan on a day of crafting 🙂 Yay!! But first I’d like to share another card I made for Crafter’s Companion using the fabulous new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens. You really need to see what these fabulous pens look like in person, and there’s no better time than now since Crafter’s Companion is having a 40% off everything sale through February 1st!!! Let me tell you, I placed a giant order..what better time to stock up on everything crafty?!?!?!
Did you know that Crafter’s Companion also has stamp sets that are the perfect choice to use with Sparkle Pens? You can see them all HERE. For this card I used the Floral Delight set, and I stamped it will Versamark and used black embossing powder on Watercolor Cardstock. Then I colored it by adding some ink from the following Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens: Cosmos, Inspired Violet, Amethyst, Emerald Green, Holly Leaf, Olive Jade to a sheet of acetate, then picking up the ink with a watercolor brush and water. After I achieve the look I wanted, I dripped some water droplets to lighten up some spots and flicked on some Amethyst ink without diluting it for the darker speckles. The background was created using the Flower Power Embossing Folder.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you find some time to get crafty this weekend 🙂
