Color Challenge

Good morning! Joining challenges makes it easy to start stamping, because the basics of the card have already been decided for us. Usually I gravitate towards the sketch challenges, because I don't always think outside the box on card layouts, but today I decided to give the Diva Coffee Break Designs Color Challenge a try. The colors to use this week are Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Rose Red, and Sage Shadow.

And here's my card:

For this card I used:

  • Stamp Set: Country Morning (Level 1 Hostess)
  • Ink: Sage Shadow, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip
  • CS: Sage Shadow, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip
  • Accessories: Regal Rose Wide Grosgrain Ribbon, Circles #2 die for the Big Shot, Scallops #2 die, Circle Scissor Plus (for Choc. Chip layer), Finial Press embossing folder, Dimensionals, Aquapainter

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Such a beautiful image, and just perfect for this color combo! Pinks for the flowers and the lovely sage shadow for the glass jars.
The texture and the tidy little bow are perfect additions to this card!
So glad you decided to play along! We’ll have a sketch challenge for ya next week!

  2. Loved this card. Wish I got that set because every card you make with it I love! These colors work well together. I have been trying to find other colors to go with the rich razzleberry and I think sage shadow is a good one.
