Color Challenge

PP30-Kerin-Sylvester
I checked out the Paper Players challenge this week, it's a color challenge! I thought I'd give it a try…I'm more of a sketch challenge type of girl, so it's a bit more of a stretch for me to do a color challenge, but hey, I'm up for anything so I gave it a shot!

Even more of a challenge were the colors involved…Very Vanilla (love), Baja Breeze (love), Rose Red (like), River Rock (I plead the 5th lol!!)…I love all things SU!, but some colors just aren't for some people, in River Rock is not for me!!

I do really like this card though, and I really enjoyed the challenge!

For this card I used:

Stamp Sets: Flores Suaves, Nature Walk, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Ink: Rose Red, River Rock, Baja Breeze

Card stock: Very Vanilla, River Rock, Baja Breeze

Accessories: Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Stamping Sponges, Dimensionals, Paper Piercing Tool, Aquapainter

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Wow, for someone who pleads the 5th on River Rock- you did a fabulous job! I love the new set Nature Walk (will receive mine in early Feb) and you have created a very elegant card with this set. Love the flowers in the background and the butterfly is stunning! Thanks for playing with us at The Paper Players!

  2. LOVE the butterfly!!! You always do such a great job with them. Just waiting for it to fly off the card!! Love this card, colors and all!

  3. Just gorgeous!! I am going to have to play with that butterfly some more—I always tend to think vintage collage, but I love that you colored it in…fabulous! As always!
