Welcome to this week's challenge from The Card Concept! This week's challenge is to create a floral themed card in one of the styles of the design team. The styles can be found HERE. My style is Clean & Layered.
I was inspired to use flowers and greenery in a vase, as pictured in the inspiration photo.
You'll definitely want to check out what the design team has come up with this week!
What an amazing response we had to our very first Card Concept challenge two weeks ago! The entries were outstanding! I'm so glad to see that so many stampers are joining in the fun.
This week the challenge is to use TEXTURE in your card, and do it in one of the styles explained HERE. As you've probably guessed, my style is Clean & Layered.
I was inspired by the red and white of the house for my card, and chose this stamp because the tree trunk reminded me of the wood texture of the roof. For my texture I embossed two different size dots on my background papers. I also colored & cut out extra hearts and added them to the tree with dimensionals.
You must check out the other designers' creations, oh my they did not disappoint!!
Woohoo! Today is the first challenge for the new challenge blog called The Card Concept. I'm SO excited to be designing on this fabulous team! The designers have got some beautiful inspiration ready for you, so I hope you'll play along 🙂
For this week's challenge, we've got some colors for you to try. You must use the colors, and create your card in one of the styles of the designers (my style is clean and layered):
I was inspired by the softer shades in the inspiration photo, and thought this sweet little girl fit those colors nicely. You will definitely want to check out what the rest of the design team has come up with!
Here are the supplies I used for my card:
Stamps: PI Bear Hugs (My Favorite Things)
Paper: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso (SU!), Lost & Found Market DSP (My Mind's Eye)
