Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at The Card Concept and wait until you see the fabulous “Spring-y” inspiration Lesley has for us this week!
Ooh la la just look at those peppy colors! My style is clean & layered, and I chose to use some new stamps I just got from Verve Stamps last week, called Brighter Days. I love love love this set! The flowers are perfect and I just love the layout and fonts of the sentiments too!
You’ll want to be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has come up with this week!
Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at The Card Concept, and guess what??? It’s our 2nd anniversary of challenges! I’ve been a design team member since the beginning, and it seems like just yesterday we were getting ready for our first challenge!
Guess what else??? There are a couple of prizes to be won, from both Verve Stamps and SugarPea Designs so you will definitely want to play along!
My style is clean & layered, and I was inspired by the colors of the inspiration photo:
Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at The Card Concept and this week we’ve got a fabulous Easter image to inspire you!
My style is clean & layered and I was inspired by the Easter theme of the inspiration photo to use this sweet girl from MFT Stamps since I’ve never used her before and I just love that sentiment! I gave her a plaid dress with the MFT Stamps County Fair Plaid 6×6 Paper Pack and colored her with Copics.
Check out what the rest of the team has come up with:
Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at The Card Concept and this week we’re inspired by some lucky shamrocks:
Sadly I don’t have a huge collection of St. Patrick’s Day stamps, but I do have this fun image from Fresh Squeezed Stamps which closed long ago 🙁 This was a super easy card, I simply added a few pops of green to the sentiment, then paired the image with some green plaid dsp and a few sequins and done!
Check out some inspiration from the rest of the design team! There is such a wide variety of stamping styles on this team, and the designs always amaze me!
Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at The Card Concept and this week we’ve got an amazingly Spring-y photo to inspire us. Oh how I wish we could see some flowers like this for real right now! New England winters are harsh, let me tell you! Just look at those flowers and colors!:
I chose an oldie but goodie set from Flourishes (Did you know they’ve re-opened?!?! Yay!) called Garden Picks. It popped into my mind right away when I saw this picture because of the jar. I find getting the clear look of a jar tricky coloring, do you? I colored my stems as normal (YG03, YG05, YG09), then added some Colorless Blender on top to kind of wash out the color, like it might be looking through the glass or water.
The background was created with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. The rest of the flowers were colored with Copics also: Y21, Y17, R43, R46, R02, R05
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll make time to join us this week!
Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at The Card Concept, and this week we have a photo to inspire you:
Ooh la la, I love this sweet Valentine’s Day inspiration! My style is clean & layered, and I was inspired by the hearts and romantic feeling of the photo. I created possibly one of the easiest cards I’ve made by using my new Minc machine. Have you seen this machine in action??? Oh my, shiny in a snap? Yes, please! The Minc adds foil to either the pre-printed material you can purchase to go with the machine (such as this card), or anything you print with a laser printer. It’s dreamy. The not dreamy part? Trying to capture the shine in a photo! Lol. I’ve given it a shot below:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you’ll make some time to get crafty this week and join us!
Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at The Card Concept, and this week we’ve got a color challenge for you to try:
What a gorgeous inspiration photo! I was inspired by the three tier cake, so I decorated a cake of my own! My style is clean and layered as you can probably guess! I found the perfect set for me, and I’ve had this set for years?? and have never used it! It’s from My Favorite Things and it’s called Who’s That Birthday Girl? I colored my image with a few Copics: E50 on the cake, N1, N2, N3, N4 on her skirt, and E000, E00, E11 on her skin. I added an assortment of sticky back pearls in my own design for the cakes.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll make some time to join us this week 🙂
Hi stamping friends 🙂 At The Card Concept, we’re back from our holiday break and ready to challenge you again! This week Lesley has come up with a super cozy photo to inspire us:
My style is clean and layered and I got my inspiration from the toasty warm pair of mittens I would really love to have right now! Christmas day it was almost 70 degrees here in New England, and boy were we spoiled. Well, those times are over and it’s back to reality folks!
I used a set from Flourishes (they’re re-opening soon, yay!) called Warm Winter Wishes and colored the mittens with Copics: R24, R27, R29, E30, E42, E43. I used the Festive Wonder – Snow Flurry embossing folder from Crafter’s Companion for the background.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have time to join us this week 🙂
Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at The Card Concept, and I am loving this week’s inspiration photo…wouldn’t it be dreamy to live in this home?!?! :
My style is clean and layered. I was inspired by the overall picturesque scene, although the scene that usually happens at my house is more typical of how my card looks, one exhausted mom! There is LOTS of paper-piecing in the card if you look closely, and I colored the rest with Copics. The stamp set is retired from MFT Stamps called Merry Christmas.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have time to join us this week, we love to see your creations!
