Hi there 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs, and there’s another wonderful inspiration photo to go with it:

I went a little haywire with this week’s challenge…I flipped the sketch sideways and upside down, and I only used the pumpkin portion of the inspiration photo. Hey, whatever works for your creativity right?!? I used the following supplies for my card:

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope you’ll join us this week 🙂

Hey stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs, and this week we’ve got a fall theme for you to try or a fun sketch (or both!):

19

For my card I used the Lovely Leaves set along with the matching SugarCut dies. The dies come all attached, and I left most of them together and ran them through my Big Shot in different colors of cardstock to make a quick wreath. I hope you like it, and also won’t you join us this week? There’s a SPD shopping spree up for grabs you know!

It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs, and I have to admit, I am in love with this little fox!! He is just too stinkin’ cute (and fun to color!). Here’s the challenge: use one side, or the other, or both!:

I flipped the sketch to landscape and used a bit of the inspiration photo as well. This little cutie is from the Fall Fox set. Of course I was thrilled to have the matching SugarCuts to make cutting out my fox a snap! I also used the Stitched Flags SugarCuts and the Countryside Charm Patterned Paper Collection for my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll make time to join us this week. Don’t forget, there’s a gift certificate of up to $50 up for grabs!

9-14-16

Hi crafty friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs and there is another fabulous sketch and inspiration photo to choose from, or choose both and combine them!

15

I always use the sketch, and usually try to take in a bit of the inspiration photo as well. Today I went more with the farm “theme” than the actual photo. Is it a little twisted that I had a dream of using this paper and stamp set together for this sketch? I know there are lots of stampers out there that come up with projects in their sleep…I can’t be alone, right?!?!

I used the Best of Cluck set (free with a $60 purchase this month!), along with the Whatever the Weather Patterned Paper and FarmScape SugarCuts. This card was so quick & easy!!

Don’t forget, you have all month to play along with us for your chance to win a gift certificate of up to $50 to the SugarPea Designs store!! Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you’ll take the time to get crafty this week!

Hi crafty friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs! Mmmm what a yummy inspiration photo! I’ve been trying to take a little bit from the inspiration photo while still following the sketch, but this week I just couldn’t wait to get my hot little hands on the Best of Cluck set, so I had to use it whether it fit the inspiration photo or not! That’s my favorite part of this challenge, you can follow the inspiration photo, the sketch, or both!

I also used the Zig Zag Stitched Circles SugarCuts on my card, and colored the images with Copics. I hope you’ll make time to join us this week, we love to see what you create!

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #13

8-31-16

Hey crafty friends 🙂 It’s time for a new Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs, and this week there’s a fun school themed inspiration photo, and a super flexible sketch:

13

I knew right off the bat I’d be using the Bushel & A Peck stamp set along with some school-themed designer paper I’ve had in my stash for probably years. I colored this cutie with Copics and it took me a while! I’m no coloring whiz like so many I see online, so I have to keep looking at it and adding shading…although I’m very happy with the way she turned out.

I hope you’ll make some time to join us this week, we love seeing what you create!

Hey friends 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by today! It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs. I always go along with the sketch, and I try to take inspiration from the photo too, so I thought the Wine Not set was perfect for this challenge! I also used the Zig Zag Stitched Circles Dies on my card.

August 17

I colored this little cutie with Copics…oh my I can’t remember the last time I colored!! It felt so good to get a little color therapy session going, but man oh man am I out of practice!! I am going to try to remedy that since our summer of camping is over 🙁 I’ll have lots more time in my craft room!

Thanks for joining me today!

Hi there! Ok, I’ve got a confession to make…I feel guilty that this card was super simple to make and included no stamping or coloring!! It’s time for a new Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs!

11

With the new It’s A Celebration Patterned Paper Collection, all of the work was done for me! All I did was add a few streamers from the Party Banner Duo Sugar Cut and the Celebrate SugarCut and done! It just seems too easy doesn’t it?!? I love feeling like I can whip up a nice card in a snap with products like this!!

I hope you’ll join us this week, we love seeing what you create!
