Ok, crafty confession here friends…this is quite possibly the easiest card I’ve ever made! When I was listing the supplies I used on the SugarPea Designs blog and entered “none” for stamps and “none” for dies, I have to admit I felt a little guilty! But, a card that can be made using only the Happy Holidays Patterned Paper Collection?!? Yes, please!
Here’s this week’s challenge, easy peasy huh??
Christmas is the perfect time of year for an anything goes challenge! I hope you can take a few minutes to whip something up and join us this week! Don’t forget, there’s a prize involved!!
Hi stamping friends 🙂 Wow, it’s the day before Thanksgiving already! Before you know it we’ll be mailing out holiday cards, so why not get started on them with some inspiration from this week’s Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs?!?
For my card I made a shaker using the Beautiful Bauble SugarCut, along with the O Christmas Tree stamp set. I love a little extra sparkle, don’t you?! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and if you’ve got time to get crafty we’d love for you to join us this week!
Hey crafty friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs and this week we’ve got a Christmas theme:
Lately I’ve been using some non-holiday sets to create Holiday projects, and today is no different. I used the Special Delivery set along with the Zig Zag Stitched Circles SugarCuts. I added a little bit of holiday color to my envelopes using Copic markers.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll join us this week, we love to see what you create! Plus, don’t forget there’s a monthly prize up for grabs!!
Hi there 🙂 I’m so excited to be joining the fun for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags that Tracey hosts! SugarPea Designs is a sponsor today and I couldn’t resist playing along! I went for a non-Christmas Christmas tag…haha does that even make sense? I had the idea to create a jar of cookie ingredients and make a tag to go along with it using the adorable Whisky Business set. I have to say, I wish my jar looked as neat as some of the perfectly layered jars you see on Pinterest! To do that I recommend you don’t tip your jar sideways to tie your bow like I did lol!!! My tag base is a Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle SugarCut, and the sentiment is on a Stitched Flag SugarCut.
Guess what else?!? There are many, many sponsors and lots of prizes up for grabs, so head on over to Tracey’s blog and join in on the fun!
Is that inspiration photo simply gorgeous or what?!?! I used the sketch challenge of course, and for some reason the pink in the inspiration photo inspired me to use this cute little piggy from the Barn to be Wild set! I colored him with Copics and he’s stamped on a Zig Zag Stitched Circle Sugar Cut. Oh my gosh I love that sentiment!! I placed it on a Stitched Flag Sugar Cut.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll make time to join us this week! Did you know you have all month to play along for a chance to win a gift certificate to the SugarPea Designs online store, up to $50?!?!
Hi there 🙂 It’s time for a new Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs and I just love this week’s inspiration photo! It’s getting a bit chilly here in the Northeast, so this photo is right up my alley!
I had to go with a coffee theme for my card, using Caffeine Addict, Espresso Yourself, along with SugarCut dies:Coffee To Go Cup, Stitched Flags. Of course I used the sketch as well. The fun part about this challenge is that you can use the sketch, the inspiration, or both…plus, there’s a prize up for grabs too!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ll join us this week!
Hi there 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs, and there’s another wonderful inspiration photo to go with it:
I went a little haywire with this week’s challenge…I flipped the sketch sideways and upside down, and I only used the pumpkin portion of the inspiration photo. Hey, whatever works for your creativity right?!? I used the following supplies for my card:
Hey stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs, and this week we’ve got a fall theme for you to try or a fun sketch (or both!):
For my card I used the Lovely Leaves set along with the matching SugarCut dies. The dies come all attached, and I left most of them together and ran them through my Big Shot in different colors of cardstock to make a quick wreath. I hope you like it, and also won’t you join us this week? There’s a SPD shopping spree up for grabs you know!
