SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge 12

8-17-16

Hey friends ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks so much for stopping by today! It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs. I always go along with the sketch, and I try to take inspiration from the photo too, so I thought the Wine Not set was perfect for this challenge! I also used the Zig Zag Stitched Circles Dies on my card.

August 17

I colored this little cutie with Copics…oh my I can’t remember the last time I colored!! It felt so good to get a little color therapy session going, but man oh man am I out of practice!! I am going to try to remedy that since our summer of camping is over ๐Ÿ™ I’ll have lots more time in my craft room!

Thanks for joining me today!

Hi there! Ok, I’ve got a confession to make…I feel guilty that this card was super simple to make and included no stamping or coloring!! It’s time for a new Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs!

With the new It’s A Celebration Patterned Paper Collection, all of the work was done for me! All I did was add a few streamers from the Party Banner Duo Sugar Cut and the Celebrate SugarCut and done! It just seems too easy doesn’t it?!? I love feeling like I can whip up a nice card in a snap with products like this!!

I hope you’ll join us this week, we love seeing what you create!

Hey there ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs and this week’s inspiration photo had me wanting to dive into a freezer full of treats head first!

July 29th

I knew immediately I’d be breaking out one of my favorite sets from the last release, Summer Scoops! And what’s more fun than a matching die?? Yay, no fussy cutting! I added a few Stitched Flags to top it off, what a super easy card this was!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll find some time to play with us this week ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi there : It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs and look at the amazing inspiration photo we’ve got to work with today! Yummm…

July 20

Of course I used the sketch as always, but I was also inspired by the soft pastel colors and sprinkled ice cream to create a card that mimics the photo. I used the Summer Scoops set and matching dies, along with some Princess Sparkly Shaker Sequins for my sprinkles. I added some paper from the It’s A Celebration Patterned Paper Collection and my sentiment is mounted on a Stitched Flag SugarCut.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi stamping friends ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s time for a new challenge at SugarPea Designs and as usual there’s an amazing sketch and photo to inspire us!

July 13th

The second I saw the inspiration photo I knew I was going to use the Special Delivery set…it has all the perfect elements to go with this photo! I added the envelope and airplane from the Special Delivery Accentsย and found some striped paper I thought went pretty well too. I added a Zig Zag Stitched Circle for a little more texture.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll make time to join us this week ๐Ÿ™‚

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #6

Hi there ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s time for another fun challenge from SugarPea Designs! The challenges are called Mix It Up Challenges, because you can use the sketch, the inspiration photo, or both! I mostly used the sketch today (flipped sideways), but I think I took a little inspiration from the photo as well:

July 6

I used one of my most favorite items from the new release…is that the best birthday sentiment or what?!? I love it! It’sย from the set called HB2U. I also used the Birthday Journal Card SugarCut, and I punched out the center of the balloon to create a shaker with some sequins from the Princes Sparkly Shaker Collection. I added some fun paper from the It’s a Celebration Patterned Paper Pack to finish it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by ๐Ÿ™‚
