SugarPea Designs ~ Hello

Hey crafty friends! I’m up on the SugarPea Designs blog today sharing a card I made with products from the new release last week!  One of my favorite products from the new release is the Hello SugarCut. Did you know that this is the “Sweet Incentive” item for this release? That means that you will get this fabulous die included with your order of $60 or more (excluding discounts or s&h) absolutely free! I am finding that I want to add this die cut to every card I make lately!! I also used the new Card Front Element Builder SugarCut. Oh I love the combination of a scalloped edge and stitching!

Check out the blog post HERE for details on how I made this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

SugarPea Designs Winter Release ~ It’s Almost Time!

It’s the final day of the Winter Release at SugarPea Designs! I hope you’ve enjoyed everything so far, and we’ve got even more fabulous products to share with you today! The set I used to create the card above is one of my favorites for sure! It’s called Better Together and it has a matching SugarCut die set too! I loved coloring every little cookie and the milk on this card, and this was my Valentine’s Day card for my hubby 🙂

And, here’s a card I made with the new Diagonal Striped CoverPlate SugarCut die:

I used the die to create a stencil, then applied distress ink in a fun color palette with some splatters for texture. I turned to one of my favorites for this release to finish off this card, the Hello SugarCut die (free with $60 purchase)…oh how I love this sentiment!

The new release goes live at 6 p.m. Eastern time tonight!!! In the meantime, be sure to check out what the rest of the team has come up with!

SugarPea Designs Winter Release ~ Day 4

It’s day 4 of the Winter Release at SugarPea Designs and today’s set called Topiary Garden is another one that is perfect for so many occasions! I used it to create a card that would be perfect for Valentine’s Day, an anniversary or a birthday! And, how beautiful is this font?!? I love it so much!! This set also has a matching SugarCut set that will make creating beautiful cards a snap!

The new release goes live tomorrow at 6 p.m. Eastern time. In the meantime, be sure to check out what the rest of the team has come up with, and stop back tomorrow for our final day of sneak peeks!

SugarPea Designs Winter Release ~ Day 3

Hello! It’s day 3 of the Winter Release at SugarPea Designs and today we’ve got more amazing products to share! First up is the super sweet new set called Otterly Adorable. Is this cuteness overload or what?! It’s so exciting that there is a matching SugarCut die set too, so no fussy cutting! I paired this little guy with the wavy die from the new Card Front Element Builder that is also being released this week. I used watercolor paper and distress inks to create a watery background.

Next up is the fun new Striped CoverPlate SugarCut. I love that it has a panel built right in to highlight an image or sentiment! I used distress inks to create a fun splattered background before die cutting my watercolor paper. Then I added one of my favorites from this release, the new Hello SugarCut (free with $60 purchase). Finally I put clear acetate behind my die cut and added sequins for a fun shaker card.

The new release goes live this Friday at 6 p.m. Eastern time. In the meantime, be sure to check out what the rest of the team has come up with, and stop back tomorrow for more sneak peeks!

SugarPea Designs Winter Release ~ Day 2

It’s day 2 of the Winter Release at SugarPea Designs and today we’ve got that special set that everyone needs in their collection…Heartfelt Sympathy. All too often we need the perfect sympathy card for a difficult time in someone’s life and we find that we don’t really have anything that suits the occasion. This set has got a huge variety of sentiments, and I chose to use almost all of them on my card! To go along with this timeless set is the Sympathy SugarCut Die.

The new release goes live this Friday at 6 p.m. Eastern time. In the meantime, be sure to check out what the rest of the team has come up with, and stop back tomorrow for more sneak peeks!

SugarPea Designs Winter Release ~ Day 1

Hello! I’m so excited today because it’s day 1 of the Winter Release at SugarPea Designs!! Oh my gosh you are going to LOVE this release! We love them all, don’t we?!?! I’ll tell you, I was blown away when I saw the stamp set we’re highlighting today. I’m a huge fan of flowers and Pretty Peonies is the prettiest flower set I’ve had the pleasure of coloring! I don’t know about you but I am so ready for Spring, and this set took me away from snow filled New England for a bit!

Also released today is this amazing “hello” SugarCut die. This will be FREE with your $60 order!!  It is the perfect addition to any every card! How about the sweet scalloped edge above too? We’ve also got a new SugarCut set called Card Front Element Builder.

I couldn’t stop at just one card, so I created the one below as well. I added paper from the Spots & Stripes Pastels Patterned Paper Collection and the Sugar & Spice Patterned Paper Collection to create another “Spring-y” card:

The new release goes live this Friday at 6 p.m. Eastern time. In the meantime, be sure to check out what the rest of the team has come up with, and stop back tomorrow for more sneak peeks!

SugarPea Designs ~ Mix It Up Challenge #40

It’s time for a new Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs and it’s another fun one this month (aren’t they all?!?):

I chose to go a bit with the love theme, and also use the sketch for my card. I used the adorable This Little Piggy set (It’s on sale right now!), along with the ZigZag Stitched Circle SugarCut dies and paper from the Sugar & Spice Patterned Paper Collection.

Did you know that there is a $50 gift certificate to the SugarPea Designs store up for grabs? I hope you’ll play along with us this month, we love to see what you create!

SugarPea Designs Valentine’s Day Treat

Hello stamping friends! I’m excited to be up on the SugarPea Designs blog today! This year is whizzing by already and before you know it, it will be Valentine’s Day! Have you seen the mini Ghirardelli chocolate squares? Too cute! I thought it would be fun to create a little treat holder for them, nothing elaborate, because especially for Valentine’s Day, you may need to create many of them for a child’s classmates or your coworkers!

I have created these super simple Valentine’s Day treat holders using a piece of paper from the Spots & Stripes Pastels Patterned Paper Collection along with the Special Delivery stamp set and Stitched Flags SugarCut set.

I’ve created my very first video to show you how quick and easy this little treat holder is:

SugarPea Designs ~ Mix It Up Challenge #39

Hello and Happy New Year!! New Year, new challenge at SugarPea Designs! You can play with the sketch, the inspiration photo, or both:

This photo is perfect for what’s going on here in the Northeast right now! Brrrr…I don’t think we’ve hit 20 degrees in over a week. Wind chills have been in the negative numbers and it’s becoming ridiculous. Lol. But, what better to do when it’s freezing out but stamp right?!?

I used the Mugs & Kisses set for my card, along with the matching SugarCut die set on a distress ink background. I hope you’ll take some time to play along with us this month! You get in some crafty time, PLUS there’s a chance to win a gift certificate to the SugarPea Designs store!!

SugarPea Designs ~ Mix It Up Challenge #38

Hello! Are you in the Christmas spirit yet? Have you whipped up a zillion cards to mail??? I have quite a few made, but haven’t actually written any of them out or mailed them! I made this card for the current Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs, which is to make whatever you like!!

I used the Flurry of Warm Wishes stamp set, (I love these snowflakes so much!!!) stamped snowflakes randomly on watercolor paper with Versamark ink, then embossed with white embossing powder. I added various shades of purple distress ink. I’m so happy with how it came out. I don’t know about you but I love non-traditional colors on holiday cards!

I hope you’ll take some time from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to get crafty! Don’t forget, there’s a gift certificate to the SugarPea Designs store in it for one lucky winner!
