Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new sketch challenge at SugarPea Designs and I was so excited to use this new set I got called Blow Me Away…oh my gosh how cute is this little fella??? Here’s the sketch:
I so enjoyed coloring this little guy. Here are the Copics I used: YG03, YG05, YG17, YG67, YG97, V04, V06, V09. I also used the Zig Zag Stitched Circles Sugar Cuts. I love that it’s an assortment of circle sizes and the design is different from many other circle dies I’ve seen.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and don’t forget you can play along with all of the sketch challenges this month for a chance to win a $75 shopping spree in the SugarPea Designs store!
Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s time for a new sketch challenge at SugarPea Designs and of course Wendy has created a fun one for us!
I flipped the sketch because I wanted to use the Special Delivery stamp set and the paper airplane flies in the opposite direction. I used the coordinating Sugar Cuts called Special Delivery Accents also. I created a background for my scene using Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves and Picked Raspberry…boy was that a messy production but I love the end result! I added a few sequins and some sparkly DSP to finish it off.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll have time to join us this week.
For this week’s sketch I immediately thought of this sweet pizza man from the Pizza My Heart set. I think he is too cute, and so much fun to color also. I found this cool houndstooth patterned paper and it reminded me of some chef’s pants I’ve seen on cooking shows so I had to incorporate it in my card! I colored him with Copics…usually I tell you what colors I used, but I used a lot of different colors and accidentally put them all away before taking note of the numbers!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll make some time to join us this week…you could win up to a $75 gift certificate to SugarPea Designs, what’s more fun than that?!?
Hi stamping friends 🙂 It’s my first week designing for the SugarPea Designs Challenge team and I am SO excited! I just love all of the sweet images from SugarPea Designs, especially since I’m a huge fan of coloring. Here’s our latest sketch:
Here’s the even more fun part…we will have a new sketch challenge each week, but you have all month to enter to win! There will be a randomly drawn winner that will receive a gift certificate to the SugarPea Designs store, and if you useSugarPea Designs stamps the gift certificate will be $75! You’ll definitely want to keep going back to the SugarPea Designs Blog to play along with all of the challenges for more chances to win!
For my card I used the Bushel & A Peck stamp set…oh my gosh how cute is this sentiment, “I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck”…awwwww. I love that there are many different things this cute little girl can have in her basket, hearts, flowers, shamrocks, apples, or Easter eggs!
Hi stamping friends 🙂 How’s your week going? I hope you’re finding some time to get crafty…coloring is good for you, you know! Today I am playing along with this week’s sketch challenge at SugarPea Designs:
I decided on a square card for this one because I really wanted to use this sweet raccoon from the Great Catch set. I colored him with the following Copics:
Raccoon: N2, N3, N4, N5, N7, N9
Vest: R24, R27, R29+
Hat/Pole: E34, E35, E37
I outlined him with a little BG000 to give him a little more pop. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hi stamping friends 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful weekend!! I sure did. My hubby came home for the long weekend (he’s working in Long Island right now if I haven’t shared that before) and it was great to have some time with the whole family here together. But, he went back today, which means I’m back in my stamp room tonight!
I’m in the mood to make Valentine’s Day cards lately, so I knew immediately I’d reach for this little cutie from the Go-pher It stamp set! The sentiments in this set are perfect Valentine’s Day, Birthday or even Thank You cards. I colored him with Copics, and I added some Glossy Accents to the gems to really make them shine. I paired my image with some DSP from the Love Story paper pad (Echo Park Paper Co.)
Hi stamping friends 🙂 Today I’m playing along with the sketch challenge at Sugar Pea Designs. I’m in the middle of a big project for one of the design teams I’m on, but thought I’d take a little break and make a card. I love, love, love Sugar Pea Designs’ stamps, they are some of my favorites for coloring! Here’s the sketch:
The little guy is from the My Hero set and I colored him with Copics:
Hair: N4, N6, N8
Skin: E000, E00, E11 with R20 on the cheeks and a little BG0000 on the glasses
Hi stamping friends! Today I’m wishing Sugar Pea Designs a happy 1st birthday by stamping a card with the first set I bought from then the night of their first release ~ Pizza My Heart. I loved this set from the moment I saw it, and how appropriate with Valentine’s Day right around the corner! Tonight I spotted this DSP in my stash it reminded me of a tablecloth in a pizza parlor.
For the layout of my card I stopped over to the Sweet Sunday Sketch and found that this week’s sketch is perfect for this little guy:
Hi stamping friends! Wow, it’s been so long since I’ve spent some time in my stamp room. It was a rough couple of months, not just because of the holidays but because I had pneumonia for six weeks. I just could not kick it! But, I’m back to being healthy and ready to enjoy some stamping time again 🙂 Do you know what was my favorite part of coloring up this little cutie? My 15 yr old son Nick came down to my stamp room and asked if he could color with me…sure, he was just buttering me up to get me to buy him another pair of new sneakers (which worked lol), but I’ll take it nonetheless!
Hi friends 🙂 Today I’m playing along with this week’s Sugar Pea Designs sketch challenge. I saw Lesley’s sweet card yesterday while browsing my facebook feed and knew I’d need to find time to join in! Here’s the sketch:
For my card I used the My Hero set. I colored him with Copics and added some DSP from the Doodlebug Designs Hip Hip Hooray 6×6 pad.
