Crafter’s Companion – Lily

lily-wm-kerin-sylvesterHi stamping friends 🙂 I know it’s getting pretty chilly outside (at least it is here in the Northeast!), and next week is Thanksgiving, so I thought it was time to create a card that would remind us of warmer weather with Sheena’s A Little Bit Floral – Lily set from Crafter’s Companion.

I love floral designs any time of year and this one was so much fun to color with Spectrum Aqua markers in Scarlet, Red Violet, Moss, and Sepia on Spectrum Aqua Watercolour Cardstock. The textured background is the Die’sire Embossalicious Flower Power 8×8″ embossing folder. I love the deep embossing these folders create!

I created the sentiment on my computer with a fun font that I felt fit the design of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you find some time to get crafty during this busy time of year 🙂

Crafter’s Companion – Cool Christmas

Snowman-Kerin-Sylvester-WMHi stamping friends 🙂 Today I’m sharing a fun Christmas card with you. With Thanksgiving only a week and a half away, I’d better get cracking on making my Christmas cards! My how time flies. This card was made with a super cute set from Crafter’s Companion from the Nordic Christmas collection called Cool Christmas. I just love this adorable snowman, but all of the sets in this collection are calling my name 😉

I began with Spectrum Aqua Watercolour Cardstock, and I used Spectrum Aqua markers in Charcoal, Black, Burgundy, Moss, Gold, Teal, Navy, and Orange to color in my snowman . The shadowing and snow are Aquamarine & Charcoal mixed & watered down. For the background I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink sponged with Navy Spectrum Aqua Marker splatters. I added a few sequins for a little extra bling.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Crafter’s Companion – Makey Bakey Mice

Thanks-Petal-KS-WMHi stamping friends 🙂 Today I’m sharing a card I made with some new supplies from Crafter’s Companion. You’ll be seeing a lot of these little mice, I find them totally adorable (and so much fun to color)!

This set is called Makey Bakey Mice – Thanks Petal. This little cutie was stamped on Spectrum Aqua Watercolour Cardstock, then colored with Spectrum Aqua Markers in Tan, Chocolate, Charcoal, Terracotta, Peach, Spice, Scarlet & Moss. Once I was finished coloring him, I added a background using the Sheena Decorative Stencil called Distress Grid.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you find some time to get inky 🙂

Crafter’s Companion – Exciting News!

enjoy-the-silence-kerin-sylHey stamping friends 🙂 I’m super excited to finally get to share some news with you! Today I’m beginning a new adventure…I’ve been chosen to be on the design team for Crafter’s Companion. I can’t even begin to explain how thrilling this is for me. Crafter’s Companion not only has a fabulous assortment of stamps, paper, embossing folders, tools and accessories, they also have Spectrum Aqua (what I’ve used on this card), and Spectrum Noir Markers!! Ooh la la I’m in heaven 🙂 You know me and coloring 😉

For today’s card I used a stamp set called Enjoy the Silence by Sheena Douglass, along with Spectrum Aqua markers in Moss, Aquamarine, Teal, Gold, Orange and Crimson, all on fabulous Watercolour Cardstock. Usually watercolor paper has a creamy off-white look to it, not this cardstock, it’s extra white and the best I’ve used for watercoloring!

Stay tuned for more fun creations with Crafter’s Companion products, woohoo!
