We had fun at my monthly card class last night! Nine women came over and made 2 of each of these 4 cards. The first one we made uses the Rebecca designer paper, the daisy punch, the stamp set called "Much Appreciated", the Petals jumbo wheel from the Spring Mini catalog with Pretty in Pink cartridge, chocolate chip classic ink, whisper white, sahara sand and chocolate chip card stock, and fresh favorites II buttons.
For the next card, we used "Doodle That" and "It’s Your Birthday" stamp sets with certainly celery and almost amethyst classic ink. The white folded card is adhered to a certainly celery card stock backing, and we punched out the square where the flower is with the 1-3/8" square punch. Then we used that piece we punched out to stamp Happy Birthday on. We also used celery grosgrain ribbon.
Our next card uses one of my favorite and not retiring sets called "Touch of Nature". The card stock is very vanilla and always artichoke, with brushed copper underneath. We stamped off the leafy print for the background with Always Artichoke ink. We stamped the flower in black staz-on, and colored it in with So Saffron, Summer Sun and Always Artichoke markers. The tag is a 3/4" circle punch, with "Just a Note" stamped in Always Artichoke, and tied with olive narrow organdy ribbon.
The last card I cased from a blog I was checking out. The creator’s name is Marni, and you can see the original HERE. The stamp set is Sketch It, and we used Summer Sun, Old Olive, and Really Rust ink. The card stock is Old Olive, Really Rust and More Mustard, on whisper white. We used the corner rounder to create the scalloped edge, and the 1/16" hole punch. We also used sponge daubers to shade in the leaves and centers of the flowers.
