Hi there! Today I'm prepping for a class I'm hosting tomorrow night…every card will use the Blooming with Love stamp set, and we'll also be using Watercolor Wonder Crayons for all of the cards too! I thought I'd show you one of the cards we're making, which I think is my favorite…mostly because it's so "springy" with the white/yellow striped ribbon, plus I love anything with the Texturz Plates for the Big Shot!
I used Watercolor Paper from SU!, which really does make a difference when you're using watercoloring…I put off buying it for probably the first two years I was a demonstrator because I didn't think I really needed it…well, you DO! Now I wouldn't use anything else! You can keep adding water and blending, and the paper holds up and the water soaks in. I also used Black StazOn ink so I don't have to worry about bleeding into my colors.
I colored a bit of color from each Watercolor Crayon, then "smeared" it around with my Aquapainter. I also used Not Quite Navy, So Saffron, Sage Shadow, and Bordering Blue cardstock. The ribbon is So Saffron striped grosgrain, and I also used the 1-3/8" Circle Punch, and dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by!
