Blog Candy

Tropical

It's my turn to give away some of the CUTEST flip flop notepads that
Mary made with the Island Floral Bigz Die in celebration of Tropical
Party week over on Create
with Connie and Mary
!  ANYONE can leave a comment on THIS post for
your chance to win one of two notepads.  Plus, see the other ways you
can win at the bottom of this post!

But first, for today's project I wanted to make something cool to go along with the tropical theme, so I came up with this little bag made using the Scallop Square die for the Big Shot. I just layered some of the Island Oasis dsp with the cardboard backing from the package, and Pumpkin Pie card stock, ran it through my Big Shot (do that twice) and I had the outside of my bag. Then I created an open top box for the inside, adhered the sides on, attached a handle and I was good to go, SO easy!! I added some dsp flowers from the Island Floral die for the Big Shot…did you know that the center of a medium sized Rhinestone Brad fits perfectly in the middle of these buttons? I attached it with a mini glue dot…bling makes me happy 🙂

Now onto the blog candy…
