Big Shot Clear Circle Die Purse

Good morning! I've had this Clear Circle Die for the Big Shot for a while, but I'm just getting to try it out now. I LOVE that I can position the die anywhere on my designer paper!! I decided to make a little purse. I'm using the Petal Party Scrappin' Kit lately…mostly because I'm not using it for a scrapbook, so I may as well use it for cards and 3d items right? Here's a picture of how I lined up the die so it would have the flower perfectly centered on the front and back of the purse:

Notice how I have the die extending past the bottom of the dsp, that's so I can have a flat bottom to my purse.

For the box in between the front and back of the purse, I cut my CS to 4-1/4 x 6", then with the 6" at the top of my cutter (with scoring blade inserted), I scored in 2-1/2" from each side, then flipped it, and with the 4-1/4" side at the top, I score in 1" from each side.

Other items used in this project…Old Olive wide grosgrain ribbon, Circle Rhinestone Brads, Matchbox Messages stamp set (with Old Olive and Pink Passion ink), 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" Circle Punches.

Thanks for stopping by!
