Well as you may have noticed, I took the past few days off from stamping *gasp*…My husband and I had a wonderful night out on Saturday while my children slept at my sister’s house. We went to my friend Christine’s house for a fun bunco night, which turned more into social/cocktail night than anything else! (we didn’t even get halfway through the game!) We had a blast and did not get home until 1:30 a.m. (my husband was my driver since I explained to him before we even went that I would not be able to drive home) Long story short, yesterday was quite unproductive! The most ambitious thing I did all day was go grocery shopping, only because two boys and a husband do not take kindly to no food in the refrigerator! (plus I wanted to get it "over with" so I would have time to stamp this afternoon after work… yup, even though I wasn’t stamping I was thinking about stamping!)
While we were there Christine offered for me to borrow a stamp set I’ve had my eye on for a while, called Fabulous Flowers. I had been thinking about what I’d do with this stamp set, and I started by stamping all over Whisper White with the big flower in VersaMark. I clear embossed this image and thought I was going to sponge color and use the one piece as a background. Once I was done sponging the color, I really thought it would make a better focal image, so I decided to cut the piece I made in half and create two cards. I get to borrow this stamp set for a few more days so you’ll be seeing more of it! Oh yeah, she also let me borrow the background stamp "Tres Chic" so I used that too, thanks Christine!
