This month's featured stamper is Charlene. Charlene is Robin's sister, and also a great stamper, it must run in the family! When I asked for a volunteer to be this month's featured stamper at our Stamper's Club night last month, Charlene said she would "give it a try"…well within a couple of days she was back with her cards done already! She was so quick and came up with awesome cards!
My favorite part about the monthly featured stamper idea is that everyone has such different styles, and I love to see them all! Charlene's first card is a layout I don't think I've ever tried, but I will be sure to "borrow" now that I've seen hers! She used the flower fusion, along with Basic Black, Always Artichoke and Rose Red card stock…plus a nice square Rhinestone brad, and some silver brads on the smaller flowers. Isn't it amazing what you can do with a few punches and accessories? The stamp sets are Boho Backgrounds and Sweet Serendipity.
You know why else this card is right up my alley? Because everyone comments about me being the "queen of layers"…looks like this card is just perfect for me!
The next card is very simple, and I love that fact! I have a tendency to add more and more, layers upon layers, ribbons, and other accessories and this card just goes to show that you don't need all that extra stuff to create a great card! For this one Charlene used the Boho Backgrounds and Sweet Serendipity stamp sets, along with Sahara Sand, Rose Red, and Always Artichoke card stock. The ticket corner punch gives just the right amount of accent on the center sentiment.
Looking at these 2 cards, which both use the same 2 stamp sets but look completely different, is a perfect example of the endless possibilities there are with stamping! Thanks Charlene for "giving it a try", you did a great job! I'll have a special gift for you at tonight's Stamper's Club night!
