Accordion-Folded Flower

First of all, who made this mess????? I always say that to my kids when my stamp room's a disaster area. I think they enjoy the fact that they're not the only ones in trouble for making a mess sometimes! I spent today creating cards for my stamper's club, plus a new project I'm working on too. Isn't it funny that my stamp table is about 8 feet long and 3 feet deep and I work myself down to a little 6 inch square section to stamp in? Come on, I know you do it too!

Onto the real project I'm going to show you today…did you notice that cute little accordion-folded flower on page 5 of the Sale-a-Bration brochure? I wanted to try it out, so I made one yesterday. It was actually going to be one of my stamper's club projects this month, until it dawned on me that it can't be mailed without getting squished.

The flowers are actually pretty simple to make once you get the hang of it. Maybe tomorrow I'll give the video another shot and show you quickly how I made it!

All of the dsp is from the package you can get as a Sale-a-Bration item, and the words are from Sweet Little Sentiments. The flower stem is Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon, and the card stock colors are Chocolate Chip and So Saffron.

Thanks for stopping by!
